The problem

Dinner shouldn't take this much effort

Three small frictions add up to one nightly headache.

"What's even for dinner?"

It's 7pm. You've opened the fridge three times without deciding. That's the fourth night this week you've defaulted to eggs, or ordered in food you didn't plan to pay for.

Recipes, scattered everywhere

Forty-something screenshots. A dozen TikTok saves. A notes app you haven't opened since March. Somewhere in there is the recipe you actually wanted tonight.

Groceries you forgot you had

The cilantro wilting in the crisper, bought last week, then reordered on Instamart this morning. That's ₹150 you just paid twice for the same bunch.

None of that is a discipline problem. It's a tools problem.

How it works

Save it. Stock it. Decide. Cook.

Four steps, and dinner stops being a question.

  1. 01 / SAVE

    Never lose a recipe again

Speak it out loud, paste a TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube link, or type it in. UppuKaara turns it into a saved recipe with a ready-made ingredient list, automatically.

  2. 02 / STOCK

Know what's actually in your kitchen

Snap a photo, say what you bought, or let it auto-sync from Instamart and Blinkit. Your pantry updates itself, so you're never buying cilantro you already own.

  3. 03 / DECIDE

    Let it choose for you

Tap "Decide for me" and it matches your pantry against your recipe bank. Calories and macros are worked out, with fitness-app sync on the way. You'll get a say in which apps come first.

  4. 04 / COOK

    Cook without checking your phone

Hands-free, step-by-step guidance with a timer built into every step. Just cook.

See it in action

Tap once. Dinner's decided.

This is what happens the moment you hit "Decide for me."

Questions

Good, honest questions

Here's what we know for sure, and what we're still figuring out.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your recipes and pantry are yours. We don't sell your kitchen data, ever. Full privacy details ship alongside the app.

What phones will it work on?

iOS and Android, from day one. Tell us your device when you join and it'll shape what we test first.

Can I import recipes from any website?

At launch: TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube links, or manual entry. More sources get added based on what people actually ask for.

Which fitness apps will it connect to?

We're building calorie and macro tracking to sync with the fitness apps you already use. Which ones ship first is still open, and waitlist members get a vote.

Is UppuKaara free?

No, early joiners get lifetime access for ₹99, limited to the first 100 spots. Once those are gone, this offer closes for good. If you'd rather wait, you can still join free and get notified the moment we launch. Pricing then is TBD.

When does it launch?

No date yet, and we'd rather tell you that straight than promise one we might miss. Waitlist members hear first, well before any public announcement.
